  UPDATE: Catalina continues to be our favourite special (or any!) occasion lunch venue. I’ve never had anything but excellent service, care and attention. Food and wine lists always superb.
  
  We had a lovely Christmas lunch at Catalina. The food and wine selections were (as always!) delicious with a wide variety of options to suit everyone. The staff was particularly wonderful and really made the day feel extra special. The extra touches and patron gifts were totally unexpected and very thoughtful. Thanks for a great Christmas Lunch 2020!

  We were greeted on arrival and when we said it was our anniversary, we got moved to a table with a view. We were looked after by a variety of staff members and everyone of them was was polite, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Service was impeccable.
  The food was the BEST we have ever tasted. Beautifully presented and so tender, tasty, delicious - just perfect. You could not fault it. This was fine dining at its best. The portions were generous - we said we were going to share the mains and so they brought them out for us in 2 plates already shared - that was impressive service. We left very satisfied not only with the meal but with the high quality service that you rarely find anymore. Well done Catalina, we will definitely go again.

  We had a table for two for dinner and were very appreciative to receive a phone call earlier in the day to offer us a sitting at 6:30pm rather than our original booking for 8:30pm. This enabled us to savour the wonderful view in daylight as well as the beautiful food at Catalina. The staff were friendly and very professional. Each course was of an excellent quality, both to the palate and the eye. My wife and I enjoyed the entire evening and will definitely come again.

  My birthday club dinner was fabulous as usual. We all had fish mains- just superb.
  The oysters natural to start, were excellent with the fine French champagne.
  Our entrees we all shared and we argued over who ordered the best.
  We enjoyed several bottles of Chardonnay and one Red.
  Finished with a lovely dessert wine and yummy sweets.
  Our service was attentive without being too much and the courses breaks were just right.
  The location is wonderful.
  Thank you again, and we will be back as we have done for the last 12 years.

  It has been one of the restaurants on my culinary bucket list to check out and I was not disappointed. We both came and celebrated our birthdays this month, as a second choice to our original plans, and it was a perfect change of plan at that!
  
  It's actually not terribly priced. Don't let the location or prestige put you off. You get what you pay for. So for food that is artwork, a beautiful location (I suggest going around sunset as we did), professional service and even a wine expert to help you mate wine to your food, it's definitely good value for going about spoiling yourself!
  
  For those wondering whether such aesthetically pleasing dishes are lean and leave you hungry afterwards, this isn't the case with Catalina. Everything is in good portions, and we left content.
  
  One suggestion for those considering: in this summer heat, do try the Catalina dreams signature cocktail. It had been a warm day, and it precisely hit the spot for me.

  I do recommend coming early to find parking. It's not easy to get one close by unless lucky. The food was good. We enjoyed all our dishes. It wasn't spectacular, but it was still lovely. The surcharge on drinks on Sundays seemed a bit peculiar though. Lovely ambience sitting outside on a sunny warm afternoon for lunch. Would definitely recommend booking early and for lunch or early summer dinner for the mesmerising view. Service was excellent and the wait staff were very attentive.

  We celebrated a beloved colleague's retirement lunch at Catalina and it was spectacular. Nothing was too much trouble, the changing numbers, the allergies all dealt with superbly. And, the food! Each dish was perfect. The whole experience made such wonderful memories for all of us. Can't thank you enough.

  Another great evening at Catalina! The cocktails were fabulous! The food impeccable- both presentation wise and oh so delicious, I mean everything on the menu is a winner in my eyes. The friendliness and service provided by all staff always makes us feel so welcomed and the staff's knowledge of the menu is top notch too! Looking forward to coming back soon. Thank you

  I had a fabulous celebratory lunch for my Birthday. The staff were friendly, attentive, and couldn't possibly have done more to maximum our enjoyable experience. The menu was amazing! delivering fresh, delicious food which is always so consistent. Can't wait to go back to celebrate Xmas.

  Catalina has been an old favourite for years. With the exceptional service, incredible harbour views, and absolutely delicious and fresh fine dining menu. There’s nothing more you could ask for for the perfect late lunch, or dinner.
  
  Thank you for always making it an enjoyable experience. The atmosphere is also always great, it’s lovely to see all the familiar faces after years of going there. The staff are the best in the biz!
